    This is a printing of a Copper Plate Bible Engraving printed in 1716. This is the artists depiction of THE BOTTOMLESS PIT

    Measures about 7 1/2" X 9 1/2" with some browning.

    This leaf has an interesting story: Up until the 19th Century men went around in horse drawn carts collecting bones and rags (cloth). The Bones were used to make glue and the rags (cloth) were used to make pages much as wood pulp is used today. They earned thick nickname "rag and bone men".
